How to help achieve tendonitis relief
Restrict or immobilize the affected area whenever possible with the use of slings, splints, elastic wraps and crutches. This will allow the tendon time to heal.
Use ice packs or simply wrap some ice in a towel and apply regularly to the affected area for up to 20 minutes at a time. This will help to relieve pain, reduce swelling and ease muscle cramps.
If tendonitis affects your knees then elevate your legs to help reduce and alleviate the swelling
