Syphilis Hair Loss

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease caused by bacteria. It develops in stages and even can lead to death if not treated. It is usually caused during vaginal, anal sex through contact with an open sore or with skin rash. The hair loss with Syphilis starts in second stage. This will affect hair follicles making them itch so that you may scratch out the hairs yourself. Some home remedies can possibly aid with Syphilis hair loss.
- The area of hair lost affected with syphilis should be rubbed with Onions till it is red. Afterwards rub the same area with honey.
- Application of mixture made with lime water, refined coconut oil and lime juice on the hair, prevents hair loss and lengthens it.
- Ten grams of Hirankhuri Booti should be ground in water with five grains of Pepper, strained and taken for two to three weeks. Alternatively, 10 grams of root of Yellow Thistle should be ground in water with five grains of pepper and taken for some week.
- Syphilis patients are advised to take a salt-free diet as the presence of salt hinders recovery: bitter, sour and pungent substances should be avoided.
